Plant Description:
Wax Myrtle is a native, fast growing evergreen tree.  The slender olive green leaves are very aromatic when crushed.  The flowers are inconspicuous during the spring, but female plants will then produce clusters of small blue berries along the stems.  Wax Myrtles can adapt to almost any soil conditions and once established are very heat and drought tolerant.
