Plant Description:

Texas Mountain Laurel is a small evergreen tree native to the Hill Country.  The leathery green compound leaves are made up of seven to nine rounded leaflets.  Racemes of fragrant purple flowers bloom during the spring.  This slow growing tree can eventually reach twenty feet tall.

 

Dophora secundiflora ‘Silver Peso’ is a variety that has silver foliage.
