Plant Description: Fringe Tree is a slow growing deciduous tree that reaches a mature size of twenty feet tall and wide. Panicles of fragrant white flowers dangle from the branches in spring, followed by clusters of bluish-black fruit throughout summer. The fruit is eaten by wildlife.  It is an understory tree preferring dappled shade and acid soils.
