Plant Description: Fraxinus pennsylvanica or Green Ash is a fast growing deciduous shade tree that has beautiful yellow fall color.  This tree has more of an irregular canopy reaching heights of fifty feet with a width of thirty feet.  Grows well in alkaline soils and once established it is drought tolerant.

  Fraxinus texensis also known as Texas Ash is known for its fiery fall colors of red, orange and yellow. This deciduous tree is more drought and heat tolerant than other species.  This tree reaches fifty feet tall and wide at maturity.
